Doris V. Cook
Doris V. Cook, 83, of Karthaus, PA, died on March 14, 2023, at her home.
Born on May 13, 1939, in Clarence, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Agnes (Mihalik) Franek. She married George W. Cook on October 27,1962, in Clarence, PA; he preceded her in death on June 30, 2000.
Doris was a member of the Queen of Archangels Catholic Church in Clarence, PA.
She was a Homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Robert Franek.
She is survived by a daughter, Sonya Shadeck & her husband Jeff of Clearfield, PA; a son, George J. Cook of Karthaus, PA; a sister, Celia Hoover of Snow Shoe, PA; four brothers, Frank Franek of Montoursville, PA, John Franek & his wife Ann of Clarence, PA, Andrew Franek & his wife Diana of Clarence, PA, and David Franek & his wife Carol of Washington, DC; and two grandchildren, Logan and Clayton.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Burial will be at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Clarence, PA.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA.
