Rose M. Casher
Rose M. Casher, 91 of State College, PA, formerly of Altoona and Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Hearthside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in State College, PA.
Born on October 1, 1930, in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Mary (Pitonyak) Andrus. She married Raymond F. Casher on October 14, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA; he preceded her in death on August 22, 2001.
She was a member of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona PA.
Rose was a homemaker and had earned her GED.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: four sisters, Elizabeth Mayes, Mary Wilk, Margaret Kimmen and Agnes Andrus; and five brothers, George, Peter, John, Joseph and Thomas Andrus.
Rose is survived by a sister, Theresa Wiegand of St. Petersburg, FL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Father William Barron. Celebrant. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA.
