Ralph E. “Tiny” Cartwright
Ralph E. “Tiny” Cartwright, 81, of Sandy Ridge, PA died on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at UPMC in Altoona, PA.
Born on December 24, 1933 in Sandy Ridge, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph H & Helen (Kanouff) Cartwright. He married JoAnne (Renwick) Cartwright on September 28, 1957 in Sandy Ridge, PA; She survives at home.
Mr. Cartwright was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Sandy Ridge, PA. He was a Retired Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and was a 1951 graduate of the former Philipsburg High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: an infant daughter; an infant brother, James Cartwright; and a sister, Sally Lou Kephart.
Mr. Cartwright is survived by: a daughter, Laura Jean Shoff & her husband Bradley of Mt. Lebanon PA; a sister, Bonnie Lee Johnson & her husband Harry of Sandy Ridge, PA; and two grandchildren, Emily Lane Shoff and Evan Alexander Shoff.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Forrest Bish officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
