Bonnie Fay Baughman

Bonnie Fay Baughman, 73, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Ambrose & Velma (Dixon) Hanna, born on March 5, 1941 in Allemansville, PA.  She married James F. Baughman on September 5, 1964 in Osceola Mills, PA; he  preceded her in death on February 27, 2010.

Mrs. Baughman was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church, where she was Chancel Choir of the church, Treasurer of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class, Vice president of the United Methodist Women of the church, and on the Board of Trustees and a Parish Nurse.  She was also a member of the Columbia Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary in Osceola Mills, PA, a member of the Osceola Mills Women’s Civic Club and on the Penn Highlands Health Care Advisory Board.  She was a retired Registered Nurse for Clearfield Hospital and Home Health.  She was a 1959 graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School and graduated from the Altoona School of Nursing.

Mrs. Baughman is survived by: two sons, Mark D. Baughman & his wife Michelle of Niceville, FL and Rev. Paul W. Baughman & his wife Karen of York, PA; a sister, Debra Curry & her husband Phillip of Allemansville, PA; a brother, Charles Hanna & his wife Ruth of Warriors Mark, PA; a sister-in-law & brother- in-law, Jean and Jordan Smith of Osceola Mills, PA; and nine grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Osceola Mills, United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes & Rev. Paul W. Baughman, son of the deceased officiating.  Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.

Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
