Ellen S. Bambarger
Ellen S. Bambarger, 90, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on September 10, 1925 in Morrisdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Maude (Quick) Roach. She married Winfield H. Bambarger on July 8, 1943 in Morrisdale, PA; he preceded her in death on November 14, 2002.
Mrs. Bambarger was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church and retired from General Cigar.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: six sisters, Baby Jean, Nora Belle, Harriet, Betty and Alice; and one brother, Pat.
Mrs. Bambarger is survived by: five daughters, Sandy Malinich & her husband Leroy of Hyde, PA, Cheryl Miller & her husband Melvin of Osceola Mills, PA, Joan Jozefick & her husband Robert of Grassflat, PA, Nancy Harris & her husband Gregory of Osceola Mills, PA and Amy Phillips & her husband Jerry of Osceola Mills, PA; a sister, Kathryn Mehallow of Hawk Run, PA; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Jennifer Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Morrisdale, PA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
