Marian P. (Copeland) Bair
Marian P. (Copeland) Bair, 87 of Bellefonte, PA passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte, PA.
She was born on October 24, 1924 in Osceola Mills to the late David Copeland, Sr. & Eva (Wilson) Copeland. She is survived by her husband, Joyce A. “Sonny” Bair, who she married on June 1, 1946 in Philipsburg, PA.
Mrs. Bair was of the United Methodist Faith. She was a homemaker and formerly a secretary. She was a 1942 graduate of the former Philipsburg, High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Jane Wilkerson; and a brother, David Copeland, Jr.
Along with her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Brenda Fike & her husband, John of State College, PA; two sons, Timothy Bair & his companion, Patti Stover of Loganton, PA and Thomas Bair & his wife, Christine of Bellefonte, PA; a sister, Beverly Russell & her husband Warren of Philipsburg, PA; four grandchildren, John Fike, III, Andria Bell, Krista Bair & Kyle Bair; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
