Margaret M. Bainey
Philipsburg – Margaret Marlene Bainey, 79, passed away at home on October 28, 2016 following a long illness.
Born on September 8, 1937 in Brisbin, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of William Hayward and Anna (Amberick) Hayward.
Margaret had celebrated 64 wonderful years of marriage on June 9th to her loving husband, James “Jim” Bainey. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother. She was one of the sweetest, most loving individuals you could ever meet, had a positive outlook on life, a great sense of humor, loved sports, especially the Steelers and just enjoyed life and her family.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Robert, Roger and Larry; six sisters, Esther Locke, Doris Hallman, Betty Yarger, Evelyn Lowe, Florence Stine and Mildred Haney and son-in-law Gary Lender.
She is survived by husband Jim, and children, Carol (Joanne) Lender & her companion Sammie Meek, of Plant City, Florida, Peggy McClure & her husband John of Flagstaff, Arizona, James “Jimmy” Bainey & his wife Wendy of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania and Kathy Bainey of Loris, South Carolina.
Also surviving are her seven grandchildren, Lori Smith of Mulberry, Florida, Rusty Botwright of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Mandy Brown (Husband Joe) of Lakeland, Florida, Ginger Bainey of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania, Melissa Medlin (Husband Bryan) of Laurinburg, North Carolina, James Bainey and Jaden Bainey of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania plus seven great-grand children, Scottie and Cody Smith of Mulberry, Florida, Alaina Brown of Lakeland, Florida, Shae Bainey and Sage Hutchings of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania and Henry and Gracie Medlin of Laurinburg, North Carolina.
At Margaret’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral services.
