My dearest Ape,
I’m so terribly sorry to hear the sad news about Doug. I will never forget the first time he brought you to our house when you guys started dating. The love that he had for you was evident from the very first moment. You two had something special, and I am eternally grateful I was there from the beginning to see your love blossom and grow – from pulling your stuck car out of the mud in the woods to watching you walk down the aisle to join the love of your life. But perhaps the best memories I possess are of the times we spent at Graterford. We had such good times, times that I will never forget.
To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. Doug will always be alive in our thoughts, memories, and hearts. Love to you and your family.

Dear Tim, Mo, and Family,

Our condolences to you during this difficult time. It’s not easy to lose a parent; my dad just passed, also. I’m learning that cherishing the memories is comforting. I hope thinking about the good times helps you, too. May love, light, and peace surround you.
