Cora Annie Anderson
Cora Annie Anderson, 92, of Philipsburg, PA and formerly of RD West Decatur, PA died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.
Born on November 25, 1923 in RD Houtzdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Lula (Hallman) Lowe. She married Lee A. Anderson on December 25, 1944 in West Decatur, PA; he proceeded her in death on February 1, 1987.
Mrs Anderson was a member of the Ohio United Methodist Church, RD Osceola Mills, PA. She was retired from the former K & B Sportswear of Philipsburg, PA and was a 1942 graduate of the Woodward High School.
In addition to her parents and husband she was proceeded in death by: two sisters, Mary Selvage and Melva Lowe; and two brothers, Chester Lowe and Merle Lowe.
She is survived by: two sons, Darrell L. Anderson & his wife Andrea of Osceola Mills, PA and James B. Anderson & his wife of Karen of State College, PA; a brother, Raymond Lowe & his wife Dolly of Smoke Run, PA; and three grandchildren, Keith Anderson, Sherri Kukuchka and Sondra Allen; and four great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Ohio United Methodist Church (Morgan Run) RD Osceola Mills, PA; with Pastor Donald Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Baughman Cemetery, RD Houtzdale, PA.
Friends will be received on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Osceola Mills, PA and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. till funeral time at the church.
