We will greatly miss dear Uncle Budd. He sure had the family story telling gene. Lots of laughs, lots of stories, perhaps slightly embellished, but always a joy to hear. Love you, dear Uncle.

We have lost one of our finest! He was always very generous and kind. We greatly appreciate all he did for us and the USA, during WWII. We honor and respect him. Rest In Peace, Budd.

Both Mr and Mrs Hollis were wonderful people and the entire community is worse off without them.
I still remember several years ago I told Bud I needed a plant for the library. I said “I need something that likes sunlight, is easy to take care of and it would help if it is a good conversationalist.”
He didn’t even look at me like I was crazy. He just said something like, “I have just the thing.”
The next day he brought me a “Rare Purple Shamrock.” It graced the library for many years.
