Deborah Ann (Hollis) Harrison
Deborah Ann (Hollis) Harrison, 58, of Conshohocken, PA died on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at her home.
Born on June 9, 1956 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of Mary Jane (Hollabaugh) Hollis of Philipsburg, PA and the late Martin J. Hollis, Jr.
Debbie was of the Catholic Faith. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post 5020 in Osceola Mills, PA. She was employed as the Comptroller for NHS Human Services of Lafayette Hill, PA. Debbie was a 1974 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School and graduated from Empire Beauty Academy & Cosmetology in State College, PA. She was attending Montgomery County Community College where she was majoring in Business Administration.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by: a daughter, Katlyn Anne Harrison of Conshohocken, PA; a son, Michael Sylvio Harrison of Conshohocken, PA; two sisters Cindy Hollis Jones of Philipsburg, PA and Lori Prestash & her husband George Prestash, III of Philipsburg, PA; and a brother Martin Hollis, III of Philipsburg, PA.
Debbie’s children were her absolute passion and the center of her entire world. She was a dedicated mother who spent her life providing love and support to ensure her children’s happiness. When she spoke of her children, her eyes brightened and in an instant, you could feel how proud she was of them and the incredible bond they shared.
Debbie was a loving and compassionate person who cared deeply for her family and friends and without hesitation would open her home and her heart to anyone who needed help. She was an avid supporter of Penn State’s ATLAS and THON and was always happy to host THON volunteers and Foreign Exchange students at her home. She was truly a beautiful person, whose caring nature and smile has left a lasting impression on anyone who knew her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Father Joseph Staszewski officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA.
Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. memorial service will be held on Friday at 7:15 p.m. and the Rosary will also be recited on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
